BUGnose (under development)

BUG is a modular open source system for building devices made by buglabs. It is a complete embedded Linux computer that can be extended with various modules.
BUG is typically programmed in JAVA using a very powerful IDE available from buglabs. BUG allows to create custom solutions at a fraction of time that is needed with other approaches.
For more information go to www.buglabs.net.

BUGnose is a new module for the BUG currently under development by JLM Innovation. BUGnose contains a number of chemical sensors to measure gases or air quality.

BUGnose will support between 1 and 4 different gas sensors and be able to detect gases like CO, NO, NO2, SO2, Cl2, HCl, H2, PH3, O3, CH4, and others.

Gas sensing applications typically require customized solutions to meet your specific needs. BUG and the BUGnose module will be a cost efficient way to generate flexible solutions for advanced applications.

The open architecture of the BUG system allows you to extend the system with a broad range of functionality including GPS tracking, wireless LAN and wireless sensor networks, GSM connectivity, embedded processing and more.
